"Tri Nguyen is going from Melbourne to Canberra the hard way.
Instead of about five hours by car, the pastor from Brunswick Baptist Church is taking five weeks towing this boat.
It is a model of the one he and members of his family fled in from Vietnam in 1982, and is a way of saying thank you to his adopted nation for its generosity, which he hopes is extended to other arrivals by boat. He is being helped along the way by fellow walkers Mohammed, Majid, and Linda  and stayed in Seymour on Friday night."
